Prayer Room

Thank You for the Prayers Let's pray; Thank You Lord for reminding us of Your amazing Love that brought You into this world. Your Love for Your creation humanity that and Your passion for relationship with us. The wonder of Your care for us is overwhelming. You order our heartbeats, our breath, and the operation of the vital organs of our body. In our morning time with You; reading Your Word and Listening to Your Wisdom and Insight as You show us the word in the Word, we continue to build the fabric of our foundation upon You. You are our Rock, the Chief Cornerstone, that holds us up in all unexpected surprise attacks of the enemy. Please help us, each one of us, continue to spend time with You every morning reading Your Word and eagerly listening for Your voice.
Really Lord, this is so precious to us. Help us to hunger and thirst for Your voice. When we do hunger and thirst for Your voice we will hear your passion for our life and the lives of humanity. Help us to always be engaged in the fight for souls here in our family and also in the life of others. This planet belongs to You and each of us want to do our part in establishing the Kingdom of God right here right now where we are. Thanks You for leading us with Your Love and swallowing up all our doubt, fear, and unbelief as we choose to follow You. Oh how we love You Lord. It was a quiet and peaceful Sunday morning,69 years ago today, until 7:57
AM and the first bomb dropped in Pearl Harbor. This surprise attack on the
United States challenged the heart and fabric of the American people. We
had been so willing to sit on the sidelines of World War II with a spirit of
isolationism, let others fight this battle against the evil of Adolph Hitler,
Benito Mussolini, and Emperor Hirohito of Japan; this spirit of apathy and
indifference to the evil in the world we live in disappeared at 7:58 AM.
The response to this surprise attack would come now from the very fabric
of the American spirit and the world would be forever changed. What the
enemy meant for destruction would be turned against him and prove to be
his doom and destruction!
Thought
As believers in Jesus Christ we are not immune to the sudden reversals,
unexpected tragedy, these "surprise attacks" that explode suddenly in our
life of order and predictability. The day begins fine, as it normally does, and
then the "surprise attack" hits like a TSUNAMI and blows us off our feet.
Reminding us that humanity is engaged in a spiritual war and we cannot
expect others to do the fighting for us. As believers in Christ we cannot live
in apathy, indifference, and denial of this war and STILL follow Jesus
Christ.
Can a person ever prepare for the unexpected? How can we prepare for
this? How can we weather this storm? How can we stand alongside
humanity and enforce the Kingdom of God upon their circumstances!
Yes, we can prepare and we do prepare for the unexpected, for this daily
battle against evil by building the foundation or "fabric" of our life as we
daily read and study and apply the Word of God to our life.
You see the reality of life is this, that we are not alone in the "surprise
attack". Almighty God El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, is standing in front
of us (because we are following Him in His Shadow). We know this
because He reminds us of this in His Word. He tells us things like I am
your Rock, your Shield, and your exceeding and great Reward. He invites
you and I to build our foundation, the fabric of our life upon Him and then
know that the surprise attacks upon our life and the lives of others will not
destroy us - they will build us, form us, and mold us more into His image!
Oooh Rah!
For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words [in order to heed
their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like:
He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid
a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the torrent broke
against that house and could not shake or move it, because it had been
securely built or founded on a rock.
But he who merely hears and does not practice doing My words is like a
man who built a house on the ground without a foundation, against which
the torrent burst, and immediately it collapsed and fell, and the breaking
and ruin of that house was great.
Luke 6:46-49 (Amp.)

It all belongs to our Father God let's take it back! Right here, right now. We can do it! We can do it! Oooh Rah!
